Information We Collect

When you select an educational membership plan, we collect the minimal personal data necessary to execute and fulfill your order: your name, your email address, and your phone or WhatsApp number. We do not see, log, or store your credit card numbers; all payment credentials are encrypted and securely handled directly by our payment processing gateway partner. Card details are entered on the payment partner's secure page or window and never reach our servers.

Kids Mode & Children's Data

Kids Mode lets a parent or guardian with an active plan create a named profile for their child inside their own account, so the child can use the courses from a restricted, checkout-free view. We collect only what is needed to run this feature: a display name, a colour chosen by the parent, and the child's learning activity (topics marked as learned, quiz scores, a daily practice streak and badges earned). We do not collect a child's date of birth, email address, or any other contact information, and a child never has a separate login of their own — access is always tied to the parent's account and subscription. The parent can view, edit, or permanently delete any kid profile and its learning history at any time from My Account.

Live Sundays Sign-up

If you request a Live Sundays place, the form collects your name and email address, your child's first name and age, and your child's current level of Albanian. You may also add a country or time zone and a short note; both are optional and we ask you not to include sensitive information. We use these details only to contact you about Live Sundays and to suggest a starting course, and we do not share them with anyone else. We do not store your IP address with your entry. Requesting a place is voluntary and you must be the child's parent or guardian. You can ask us to delete an entry at any time by emailing support@ShqipForKids.online.com.

How We Use Your Data

Your information is utilized strictly to deliver your digital access credentials, send transaction receipts, and provide technical customer support via support@ShqipForKids.online.com.

Data Protection & Security

We implement standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption protocols across our platform layout to help prevent unauthorized data access. We will never sell, lease, or share your personal data with third-party advertising companies.

Who We Share Data With

We share your name, email address and order details only with the payment provider that takes your payment, and with the email service that delivers your receipts and access emails. They use that information only to provide those services. We never sell your data.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies to run this site, and a cookie consent tool to record and respect your choices about non-essential cookies. You can manage or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie preferences link in the site footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser. The cookies we set are:

• wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* (essential): keep you signed in. They last for your session, or up to 14 days if you choose to stay signed in.
• wordpress_test_cookie (essential): checks that your browser accepts cookies when you log in. Session only.
• albabooks_kids_mode (essential, only if you use Kids Mode): a signed cookie that identifies which child profile is active on that device so we can show the right restricted view. 30 days.
• albabooks_kids_hint (essential, only if you use Kids Mode): marks that a device is in Kids Mode. 30 days.
• Cookie consent cookie (essential): remembers the cookie choices you made.

Your Rights

You maintain the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, or request that your profile information be updated or permanently deleted from our active distribution lists, subject to applicable legal and record-retention requirements, by contacting us directly.
